Human Appeal has partnered with the Sudanese Australian Health and Wellbeing Association (SAHWA) and the Sudan Children’s Cancer Organization (SCCO) to deliver Unity for Sudan, a community-led fundraising initiative supporting children undergoing cancer treatment in Sudan and the families who care for them.
The event brings communities together to raise vital funds for the creation of a dedicated respite centre, a safe and welcoming space where children and their caregivers can rest during treatment.
This centre will provide essential services including secure accommodation, daily meals, clean water, hygiene supplies, and transport between medical facilities, while also offering emotional and psychosocial support during an incredibly difficult time.
