The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” [Sahih Muslim]

He also said, “Treat your sick by giving charity” [Sahih al-Jaami’]

The Unity Community’s heart and prayers are with our dear brother and learner Utthman Mokbel from Year 9. Utthman has been battling cancer for several years and is currently in his most critical state since developing his illness. Through our partnership with Human Appeal Australia, we have organised the construction of a Masjid in Bangladesh. This honourable action is on behalf of Utthman with the intention for it to be a shifaa’ for him.

We invite our community to join us in contributing to the $16,500 to complete the Masjid in the name of Utthman.

Cash contributions may also be handed to the classroom teacher or wellbeing team.

We ask Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) to  alleviate the ailment of Utthman and provide ease and mercy on his family.
