The Sydney Muslim Cyclists (SMC) are once again partnering with Human Appeal Australia (HAA) to host a bike-ride focused on generating funds for the Gaza and Sudan emergency appeals.
The catastrophic conditions in Gaza and Sudan continue to exhibit a dire need of humanitarian intervention. Whether it is a lack of medical supplies, food, water or shelter, millions of people in both regions have been subjected to some of the most difficult living circumstances we have seen yet. Both Gaza and Sudan are currently experiencing unforeseen levels of hunger with thousands of people on the brink of famine, according to latest reports from the United Nations.
SMC and HAA are committed to upholding the emergency relief campaigns, fundraising and allocating contributions to provide displaced civilians in Gaza and Sudan access to urgent resources needed for survival, such as food, water and shelter. In light of this, SMC and HAA warmly invite our extended communities to join the quest on this significant initiative. Together, we can better the lives of so many of our brothers and sisters in Gaza and Sudan and further raise awareness about the devastating circumstances engulfing the regions.
