SMC would like to raise $10,000 for Pakistan flood victims on our annual SMC 100km Wollongong Ride.
SMC would ride through the Pristine Royal National Park and tackle the hills to raise money for our brothers and sisters combatting the recent floods.
Date: Sunday 20th November 2022
SMC are still buoyed by their most recent fundraising ride in March 2022 where SMC rode to Canberra to build 10 water wells as well as 2 mobile medical clinics in Yemen.
Last November, 2021 SMC raised $17,350 to purchase medicines for the poor and ill in Lebanon.
This comes off the back of SMC cycling from Sydney to Canberra (2017), Sydney to Entrance (2018), Sydney to Kiama (2019) and Sydney to Wollongong (2020) and Sydney to Bowral (early 2021) where SMC raised over $100,000 for the people of Burma, Syria, Palestine, Tanzania, Malawi and regional Indonesia for various causes.
This year SMC will once again cycle over 100km from Sydney’s Lakemba Mosque, through the pristine Royal National Park and over the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge to Wollongong to raise urgent funds for the poor people in Pakistan who are experiencing poverty, homelessness and water borne illnesses through the recent devastating floods.
Over 1/3 of the entire country was said to be under water st one stage and any contribution you can make will go a long way to alleviating a hardship from those in desperate need.
SMC has once again partnered with their major sponsor and trusted local NGO Human Appeal Australia to deliver this campaign to much-needed hospitals and families across the globe.
